Frank Heinlein was born in 1969 in Berlin, Germany. After studies at the Universities of Berlin, Germany; Edinburgh, Great Britain; and Strasbourg, France he took his PhD in Contemporary History at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. He has been in charge of business communication of the Werner Sobek Group since 2000. From 2008 until 2013 he also acted as strategic adviser to the German Sustainable Building Council DGNB. Frank Heinlein works and lives in Stuttgart, Germany. He is one of the founders and member of the managing board of the not-for-profit association aed e.V.
