The front building of the old mill now houses the Getzner Textil AG offices at the company's main site in Bludenz. It offers the internationally active textile company a modern working environment that is also linked to the company history. The historic listed building, which dates back to 1871, has been sensitively restored. Modern elements – such as, for example, the acoustic fabrics that were used – have been added with subtlety and meticulousness.
The Getzner product brand acunic acoustic fabrics impress in the mill front building both in functional as well as design terms. They were used in the form of suspended ceiling canopies as well as wall coverings for the skylights. Together with the transparent glass walls that divide the office units, the light wood and the historic cast iron pillars, they create a calming ambience in the entire office complex.
The fine lines of the textured pattern mirror those of the historic herringbone parquet flooring. This results in a reduced but well-designed overall look that takes the company's roots into account but also include the latest technical developments and creates a contemporary and attractive interior.
