At the edge of the state university campus, the newly founded private university SIMT got a three-storey building with conference and training rooms, as well as offices for faculty members and administration. The founders wanted a house that promotes interaction and communication between teachers and students. This ideal lead to a total abandonment of closed hallways in the building. All rooms are accesible by open stairways, ramps and corridors starting from a central hall, which also serves as an auditorium with seating steps and circles formed by the hallways. All rooms are connected to outside balconies as additional fire escape. Their design varies with the usage of the rooms behind, and they also serve as sun protection. The appearance of the building, inside and outside, is mainly characterized by the natural colors of the materials - with a few deliberately used extra colors.
