Firm Profile

Cambridge Seven Associates was founded in 1962 by a group of designers with varied backgrounds and interests who believed that their collaborative efforts would be far more effective than those of any individual.

The firm, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts with a full service staff of 60 people, including 16 registered architects, is recognized internationally for innovative work in architecture, urban design, exhibitions and graphic, interior and industrial design.

Throughout its four decades of service, Cambridge Seven Associates has delighted its clients with provocative yet sensitive designs by recognizing and acting upon the unique opportunities inherent in every project. Project types include campus buildings, museums, attractions, aquariums, hotels, retail centers, corporate offices, theaters, sports facilities, and transportation.

Awards & Press

Cambridge Seven Associates has received over 70 awards for design excellence, including the prestigious national AIA Firm Award. Projects have been recognized and published by a wide variety of magazines and trade journals, as have the firm’s Principals, who regularly share their areas of expertise through speaking engagements around the world.
